Apex Engineered Product completed the fabrication of a vertical heat exchanger for the production of chloralkali products and their derivatives for a major U.S. chemical producer. The heat exchanger was fabricated with two titanium explosion-bonded tubesheets and titanium tubes, while the shell was fabricated with carbon steel. Following the assembly and extensive quality control checks, the unit was sandblasted and painted before the delivery.
