Apex Engineered Products, Clark Division, delivered a state-of-the-art scrubber to a leading West Coast Green Energy Producer. The unit’s shell was fabricated with Carbon Steel Clad with Duplex 2205, while the head and cone were fabricated with Carbon Steel Clad and Inconel 625. All internals were manufactured with Inconel 625. Apex also expertly weld-overlayed body flanges and gasket surfaces. Before delivery, the unit was Hydro-Tested, underwent 100% RT on the shell’s long and circular seams, and was ASME Section VII Div. I stamped. After sandblasting and painting, the unit was installed at the customer’s site, where it plays an essential role in the supply of clean energy on the West Coast of the United States.
